Celebrating bird life from around the world, these images comprise some of the most incredible bird photos in the world taken by talented photographers, whilst also raising vital funds for our partner charity Birds on the Brink.

Sri Lankan green pit viper (Craspedocephalus trigonocephalus)
Sri Lankan green pit viper (Craspedocephalus trigonocephalus) is endemic to Sri Lanka, and bites are reported from tropical rain forests and plantation areas.
The neck is distinct from the flattened, triangular head. The eyes are mid-size, and the snout is short, rounded, and broad. The Sri Lankan pit viper camouflages well with the forests it lives in. Typically, it is a green snake with a black pattern, and a black line along the side of its head is present. The males tend to have a blue coloration while the females are predominantly green.

Each book is full of images generously donated by many of the world's top wildlife photographers and also gives an overview of the species, its distribution and the challenges it faces. All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to projects working to protect wild dogs in Africa.

Nature TTL 2022: Winners
The winners of the 2022 competition have been announced.
The 2022 competition saw over 8,000 images competing for the title of Nature TTL Photographer of the Year 2022, with photographers submitting images from all around the world.
The Overall Winner took home a £1,500 cash prize, whilst the Young winner secured a £250 camera voucher prize.

A potter wasp on action
A potter wasp (Phimenes flavopictus) is on a flight with a clasped caterpillar and about to enter its' nest (a pot) which is made of mud. It is continuously loading the nest until fully loaded with insects like caterpillars & beetle larvae, because this collection of insects is going to be food for its next generation.
